conveyancing services for property transfers. A Registration Trustee office can handle the
transfer of property title on behalf of DLD (often outside DLD’s main office), verify documents,
and facilitate the signing and completion of the sale. Example: We completed the sale at a
Registration Trustee office; the trustee verified our identities, witnessed the contracts, and
updated the Land Department records to the new owner’s name.
