Handover: The process in which a completed property is officially delivered from the developer
to the buyer. During handover, the buyer inspects the unit (often performing a snagging
inspection), all final payments are settled, and keys are given. It marks the transfer of possession
to the new owner. Example: The handover of our apartment is scheduled for next month – we’ll
inspect the unit for any issues, and once we’re satisfied and payments are done, the developer
will give us the keys.
